6) Jon Park likes Skinny Ties

After his initial discovery of skinny jeans, Jon slowly began to explore the world of skinny work wear. We will begin with his affinity for the skinny tie. Some said it originated as an homage to the style prowess of Barack Obama. (However, if you are up on your current news stories, the prez clearly doesn't share Jon's taste in form-fitting denim.) I would prefer to think of it as Jon's personal way of elongating his already 6' plus frame. It's like a streamline down the middle.

Not only does he constantly search through vintage shops in hot pursuit of yet another colorful, patterned, or otherwise distracting neck ornament, but he affixes it to his shirt with a variety of tie clips, the modern equivalent of a man ring. Each combination is carefully chosen to suit the mood of the day. (I'll admit that these are a step up from his former fave tie tool- the midsize binder clip.) Blaze on, fashion forward beacon of Brooklyn!
